Privacy Policy

MyAppDesk ("we", "us", or "our") operates the WeddyGo mobile application (the "App") and the WeddyGo guest website at weddygo.app (the "Guest Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and Guest Site.

By using WeddyGo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Your email address, used to sign in with a one-time code. No password is stored.
• Wedding Data: The content you create while planning: wedding name, date and location, budget items, checklist tasks, day-of timeline, vows, moodboard images, and seating arrangements.
• Guest Information: Names and details of the guests you add (e.g., RSVP status, dietary notes, table assignments). You are responsible for having a lawful basis to add information about other people.
• Vendor & Contract Information: Vendor details you record and contract documents or images you upload.
• Photos: Images you upload to the moodboard or the shared wedding album, and photos your guests upload to the shared album through the Guest Site.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the App, features used, session duration, and frequency of use.
• IP Address: Used for approximate geolocation and security purposes.
• Purchase Information: Purchase history and premium status if you buy WeddyGo Pro.

2. Sharing With Your Partner and Guests

WeddyGo is built for sharing parts of your wedding with others:

• Partner sharing: You can invite your partner to your wedding; they can see and edit the wedding's planning data.
• Guest pages: You can publish a wedding page on the Guest Site. Anyone with the link can view the content you choose to publish there.
• Shared album: Guests with access to your wedding page can upload photos to your shared album. You control moderation: photos can require your approval before they become visible to other guests.

Do not publish or add information you don't want the people holding your links to see.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

• Meta App Events — Attribution & Analytics (only if enabled in your app version, and subject to your device's tracking permission on iOS)

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — Push notifications. We store a device token so we can send you reminders, including the photo-download deadlines described in section 5.

We also use our own first-party analytics (MyAppDesk Analytics) to measure aggregate usage of the App.

These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and Guest Site;
• Sync your wedding data across your and your partner's devices;
• Display the content you publish to your wedding's guest page;
• Manage purchases and premium features;
• Measure aggregate usage to improve features;
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Guest album photos are deleted on a schedule. This is the one part of WeddyGo where we delete your data without you asking, so it is spelled out in full. Dates are relative to your wedding date as entered in the App:

• We remind you by email and push notification before the download window closes, and again before deletion. WeddyGo is not a photo backup service — download your photos and keep your own copy. Once deleted, they cannot be recovered.
• Buying WeddyGo Pro does not extend this schedule. Pro is a one-time purchase for planning features; photo storage is a time-limited service. If we offer a paid gallery extension and you buy one, the read-only and deletion dates move accordingly.
• Changing your wedding date recalculates these windows. We never shorten them so far that photos could be deleted immediately.

Everything else:

• Other wedding data (budget, checklist, guests, vendors, seating, timeline, vows, moodboard) is retained while your wedding exists in the App. Deleting an item removes it from all connected views, including the Guest Site where applicable.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at team@myappdesk.dev. See also our delete account page.
• Deleting the wedding or the album removes its photos immediately, ahead of the schedule above.
• Push notification tokens are deleted when you sign out or uninstall. Notification preferences are kept with your account and deleted with it.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, row-level access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@myappdesk.dev.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
