Welcome to Anchor! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Anchor mobile application (the "App") operated by MyAppDesk ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Anchor is a speed reading practice application that helps users improve their reading speed and comprehension. The App provides curated texts in multiple languages and allows users to import their own content (EPUBs, PDFs, Word documents, and web links) for speed reading practice. Reading progress is stored locally on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

3. Free Features and Lifetime Purchase

3.1 Free Access

The App is free to download and use. Core features are available without payment, allowing you to explore and practice speed reading at no cost.

3.2 Lifetime Purchase

A one-time lifetime purchase is available to unlock all premium features. This purchase is non-recurring and grants permanent access.

3.3 Payment Terms

• In-app purchases are managed through RevenueCat and processed via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• You can manage your purchases through your device's app store settings.

3.4 Refunds

Refund policies are governed by the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not process refunds directly.

4. User Content

4.1 Imported Content

You may import your own content (EPUBs, PDFs, Word documents, and web links) into the App for speed reading practice. All imported content is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not access, upload, or store your imported content on our servers.

4.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you import into the App. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to access and use any content you import.

4.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

• Import or read content that is illegal or violates any applicable laws.
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
• Distribute copyrighted material without authorization.

5. Local Data and Progress

All reading progress, statistics, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not back up or sync this data. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, your progress will be lost.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, features, code, curated reading content, graphics, and branding, is owned by MyAppDesk and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

6.2 Curated Content

The built-in reading texts provided within the App are for personal speed reading practice only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit these texts.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide us with feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use such feedback without any obligation to compensate you.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
• Circumvent any security measures or purchase restrictions.
• Resell or redistribute access to the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The speed reading results or improvements will be guaranteed.
• Any defects in the App will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYAPPDESK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyAppDesk, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Spain.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyAppDesk regarding your use of the App.
