Step-by-step math solutions: how to actually learn from them
A final answer tells you nothing when your own attempt went wrong at step two. Step-by-step solutions exist so you can find the exact point where your understanding diverged.
Attempt the problem first
Even a failed attempt tells you which step to compare against. Reading a solution cold feels like understanding but rarely survives a closed-book test.
Find your divergence point
Walk the solution until it disagrees with your work. That single step (not the whole problem) is what you actually need to study.
Redo the problem without looking
The loop closes only when you can reproduce the solution unaided. If you cannot, the divergence point needs another pass.
How SolvIQ does this for you
Every SolvIQ solution is broken into explicit steps, and Study mode explains the concept behind the step that lost you: using your own scanned material as the context.
